You don’t have to be a “person of influence” to be influential. In fact, the most influential people in my life are probably not even aware of the things they’ve taught me.

-Scott Adams

Think about influence today. Who influences you? Is he or she aware of the impact they make on your life? Who do you influence? In what ways?

Life deliberately today by being a positive influence to someone you encounter.

Who influences me??? I believe we are truly influenced by almost every one we meet in life, whether for good or bad. Seeing someone else doing something mean, hateful, lazy or dishonest can be a real reminder or "influence" to do better ourselves. Seeing how "what goes around comes around" really does apply in life for good or bad, can cause us to think twice before making the wrong choice. I've seen too many people I know treat others with disrespect and then see that person's life take a fall. I've had a LOT of good influences in my life, but it's the lives not well lived that remind me to do better with mine.

Isn't it an amazing contrast, to see people who have been negatively influenced, just absorbing all of the rottenness of the world? Makes me so very grateful for the mostly-positive influence I've garnered over the years.
